#1/pdf: Silence,
and Integrating the Impact of 9/11: An Intuitive View of September
11 (1/02) I sense that a tremendous amount of data was released
into our subtle energetic selves with the explosions of September
11th. I believe that openings caused by large group deaths and
the deaths of spiritually important individuals allow an inflow
of higher knowing, or a larger amount of awareness about how we
are to evolve, to download into us. Then it takes time to integrate
that data and begin to use it. We may feel that the event waves
from that catastrophe have faded to mere ripples now, and that
life is back to normal. But we are different inside, and soon
to be different on the outside, too.

Deepening Your Dreamstate: Dreams and Precognitive Omens About
World Events (4/02) A friend told me that he dreamed repeatedly
of people falling or jumping out of an airplane in the days before
the attacks. I dreamed of the floor structure of a highrise building
collapsing. Why did we have different dreams that were slices
of the whole instead of seeing the entire situation? Perhaps we
noticed the segment of the event that pertained most to what our
own personal lessons are. I think it is important to interpret
dreams as both literal at some level, and symbolic of your own
inner growth process.
#3/pdf: When Life Gets Messy and Won't Behave: The
Positive Use of Ambiguity, Uncertainty, and Disorder (6/02)
On a scale of 1-10: How addicted are you to certainty? How many
strokes from others do you receive by solving problems? How uncomfortable
are you when you can't know something immediately? How upset do
you get when you don't know the outcome? On the other hand, how
addicted are you to clutter and disorder? In what area(s) of your
home and life do you find the most distraction? How much do you
avoid final answers? To open intuition and receive the highest
source of guidance, we must be able to move through life with
a loose grip, to be aware of new input the moment it occurs and
respond seamlessly from a whole-body perspective.
#4/pdf:
First Cues: Making Friends with Your Reptile Brain (Intuition
Magazine 3/98) Just as animals sense an imminent earthquake, your
body knows what's happening in the world long before your mind
does and it transmits instinctual signals directly to your reptile
brain. Learning to recognize these primitive body messages can
give you the edge in knowing who to trust, what's true for you,
or when it's time to take action.
#5/pdf:
The Silent Mind (Intuition Magazine 9/98) How attuned are
you to the subtle messages around you, like those hidden below
our voiced communications, or those carried by synchronicities
or life's omens? There is guidance available to us at all times,
just below the surface of our logic, just after we stop pushing
and striving, just before we jump to conclusions. By cultivating
the ability to pause and be comfortable with silence, then by
focusing steadily and listening for the first sounds, or feeling
for the first impressions emerging from that core place, your
intuition is likely to wake up suddenly and enthusiastically,
as if from a long winter's nap.
#6/pdf:
Intuition and Spirituality in Business: An Expert Intuitive Looks
at Future Trends (Research Reading 5/94) As executives
acknowledge the interrelatedness of the internal, invisible, process-oriented
part of life and the external, visible, results-oriented part
of life, they will consider new, softer solutions to problems.
They will assume that nipping an unhealthy energetic pattern in
the bud is a highly efficient way to maximize productivity. It
will be common sense to deal with potential problems at the feeling
and emotional level, before they erupt into physical breakdowns
in the manufacturing plant.
#7/pdf:
The New Children and The Future of Education: An Expert Intuitive
Looks at Trends (Joyful Child Journal 1993) One of the important
trends affecting education now is that the children born since
the early 1970's have an unusually high level of fourth dimensional
experience with relatively few incarnations in the physical plane.
Most of their awareness has been focused in the higher, more abstract
mental planes. They are inexperienced physically and emotionally,
and often have trouble translating their soul's energy and wisdom
down in vibration. This "awkwardness" produces irregularities
in their daily functioning—such as hyperactivity, allergies,
dyslexia and other learning disorders, absent-mindedness or uneven
rhythms in health and self-expression.
#8/pdf:
The Big World Is Your Body; It's Conscious, It's Cooperative!
(8/02) If your life is building in intensity, if you are facing
the things that scare you most, please don't freeze in the worry-mind,
or in the duality reality! This is the time to actively look for
the oneness and the underlying sanity in all things. This is the
time to believe in your own destiny, which is the manifestation
of Who you really are. Choose what's choosing you! Enter the experience
that's seeking you and trust its compassion. Live it out in an
engaged way, and keep walking, keep inviting in your destiny,
even if you can't imagine how amazing it's going to be. Don't
worry about not being up to it. You ARE it. When it finds you
and you flow into it, you'll be saying, "You mean I get to
do THIS????"
#9/pdf:
From Polarization to Paradox: Eclipsing the Old Dynamics of Struggle
(3/03) Peace is something we don't need to create; it already
exists as the foundation of life. We must simply allow it to resurface
into our conscious mind. And we must understand that peace is
not a passive, static state where we all walk around wearing yellow
smiley-face masks. Peace is a dynamism, a rocking and flowing
back and forth between gazillions of polarities, the embracing
of the paradox of both-and.

Return of the Revolutionaries: The Case for Reincarnation
and Soul Groups Reunited, Chapter 6: The Three Lives of Penney
Peirce and The Intuitive Way, by Walter Semkiw, MD (5/03)
. . .Peirce was shocked when Bobby Jo started to rattle off facts
regarding a past lifetime as if she were reading out of an encyclopedia.
Bobby Jo related that in a past era, Peirce's name was Charles
H. Parkhurst, that he had been born on April 17, 1842, in Framingham,
Massachusetts, had lived on a farm, and then had become a prominent
minister. Parkhurst enjoyed mountain climbing and used the pulpit
to fight crime.
#11/pdf:
Becoming Transparent: Preparing to Live in the Permanent Present
Moment (7/03) Then a voice said, "To survive The Void
you must become like the void." And I knew then that we were
all in a process of becoming transparent, every inch of us. To
be transparent meant to hold nothing to yourself, to release all
ego, to be soft and adaptable, porous and permeable. To be transparent
meant that we would learn to live in a state without the need
for fixed identity, without a set history, without limitation,
without beliefs, without fear and reactionary behavior. Those
things make us opaque, solid, and dense.
#12/pdf:
Being a Medium for HER Voice (1103) I've experienced how my
body can suddenly come to attention and even start buzzing when
I enter certain forcefields and power spots, like Mt. Shasta,
Sedona, Machu Picchu, the Isis Temple at Aswan, Abydos, Mt. Fuji,
Notre Dame Cathedral, and Lake Titicaca. New Mexico is like that
for me. There is an underlying hum, an increase in the frequency
of my whole being, a sharpening of the senses, when I go there.
There is always a feeling of being able to drop directly down
through the earth, with no impediments, into the core of the planet.
There is always, with these places, an overwhelming sense of The
Mother.
#13/pdf:
Beyond Suffering (Summer 1987) The only time we move into
suffering is when we try to receive love, when we try to love
other people so they will love us, or when we try to love ourselves
by looking at our images through other people's eyes. We have
lost our connection with the central issue that we ARE love and
all we want is to radiate it, share it, experience it, and feel
it in motion.
#14/pdf:
For Those Who Are Called to Service, excerpt from
The Golden Scripts, by William Dudly Pelley (1969,
1941) Beloved, harken to my voice: I call you as of old,
knowing that ye answer. Think not ye are neglected in that the
times are not of kindness; greater indeed must be your bitterness
ere ye know the secret of my delay in using you. I would not have
you think that I ever make mischiefs; I make only order for that
is mine essence. Twice two maketh four, twice four maketh eight;
the things of spirit are ever positive, even as numbers in pure
mathematics. Things of spirit come not at suggestion; they come
by lengthy merit and delay.
#15/pdf:
Almost Heaven: For John Denver (204) In the music I heard
for the first time how John Denver had truly captured the sound
of the goodness, the noble yet earthy qualities in the American
soul, much as Oklahoma! and Appalachian Spring do. And I realized
that the sound in so many of his songs marks the path of the recumbent
soul who has waited patiently in the dark body for lifetimes as
it finally rises up and seeks to take over the whole of life;
seeks that stretch into full activation. As I listened and let
myself be affected, my own soul seemed to be saying to me, "When
did you forget about your passion? How did you become partially
hypnotized by the world's semiconsciousness? How long has it been
since you pushed the envelope?"
#16/pdf:
The Art and Entertainment of Life in the Flow (604) I dissolved,
dissolved, dissolved, and faced the blank space that appeared
in the absence of my busy thought habits. I practiced converting
the emptiness to an experience of pleasurable open space with
room to move and breathe and rest. I allowed the possibility that
nothing might ever fill me up again, and practiced not going into
grief over this thought.
#17/pdf:
Intuition and Politics: Seeing Through the Smokescreen of Spin
(1004) I believe this country has a noble life purpose—to
serve as a kind of laboratory for enlightenment—and that
it has a global role to play as a catalytic spiritual force, not
as the domineering, know-it-all boss of everyone. I am fascinated
watching this process of national spiritual growth unfold, wondering
if we will be strong enough morally, with good enough hearts and
broad enough vision, to play our part in the world community and
carry it off.
#18/pdf:
The Time of Waves: Toward an Enlightened Emotional Body (105)
The news has been full of waves. Water walls crash over beaches,
hotels, and villages, sweeping people away to the depths. Avalanches
of snow and mud cascade down to bury us. These are the among most
fearsome of our collective dream images, coming alive in technicolor,
and they have to be making an impact on our subconscious minds.
#19/pdf:
Writing a Poem as a Sacred Act (Introduction to Penney's
Poetry Book arrow of truth lands
in the lake, a mouth makes a joyful sound, 205) The urge
to keep a journal and write poems seized me early. Inspired by
several years when my family lived on a farm in Kansas, I penned
this preteen masterpiece: "The most beautiful time in Kansas,
I think/Is when the sky turns shades of blue, gray, and pink/This
is the time when the breezes are few/And this is the time when
the insects are, too."
#20/pdf:
Soul-Crafting: Getting Serious About Who We Want to Be
(206) The winds of change are blowing our debris away. What will
be left of us? To surrender to the clearing process can truly
feel insane. If I achieve clarity, will I suddenly die? Or will
I remain here, ingrained in this world, a clear light in a body
helping guide other people to become clear lights in bodies?
#21/pdf:
Forgetting What We Know to Know Anew (406) "Message
from Penney Peirce": New Introduction for The Intuitive Way,
Second Edition.
So much of knowing ourselves as our soul comes down to simply
letting go of what is false, dissolving old habits of perception,
and the ideas we cling to for security's sake. I have been systematically
letting go of what I know, of my attachment to who I think I am—every
time I can remember to do it. The more I clear the clutter from
my tissues and from the field of my personal energy, the more
intuitive I become.
#22/pdf:
Armageddon & the Light in the Big Dark Hidden"
(706) What are our old outmoded methods? The more I examine this
question, the more I see they are any methods where we believe
we alone are the driving force, where too much personal will power
must be used to keep things afloat, or generate power to catalyze
and maintain intended results. Or, they may be techniques that
derive from thought systems that are not in harmony with universal
principles, like "it's noble and necessary to sacrifice yourself,"
or "if you don't keep blowing yourself up like a balloon
to take up space, you'll be swallowed by the void." Old methods
reflect old motivations which tie to old identities.
#23/pdf:
Break Through Your Stuckness: Re-Open Your Intuition by Shifting
to a Different Part of Your Brain (Penney's contribution
to Barbara Stanny Anthology 2006) I usually feel blocked
(and often exhausted) when I've been "in my head" too
much, trying to solve problems using my "enterpriser mind,"
or "masculine mind"—that part of my awareness
that can compartmentalize, analyze, formulate, catalyze, and force.
If I don't have an idea that excites me and makes me lean toward
it, I notice I'm often trying to make things happen with will
power, and inevitably, there is a "should" involved
somewhere under the surface.
#24/pdf:
Fellowship, the Soulgroup, & the Field: Noticing the New Way
of Living As long as I can remember, whenever I access
higher levels of information intuitively, I see a council or a
collective group consciousness, rather than a single spiritual
guide or wise soul at the top of a hierarchy. When I enter my
meditative state, I experience merging with the collective knowledge
of this group mind. If I soften and expand myself, I encompass
more and more of it. Whatever comes through me comes from that
pool of knowledge. In this model, knowledge is shared equally,
given freely, and there is plenty for all.
#25/pdf:
Princess Diana & Mother Teresa: Resurfacing with a Message
for Today I remember being struck by the synchronous
close connection between Princess Diana and Mother Teresa, both
at the time of their actual meeting — one so tall, one so
tiny — and when they died literally within days of each
other: August 31 and September 5, 1997, respectively. One's candle
was snuffed out early, the other's burned all the way down. When
two such prominent souls weave themselves together by death, where
there is an almost forced comparison between the meaning of the
two lives in the consciousness of a planet — I acknowledge:
"Spirit" is up to something; a lesson is being imprinted
on us!
