About
Penney Peirce

Penney Peirce is a well-respected and gifted intuitive empath with deep psychological understanding, visionary ability, and business sense. She has been closely involved with the San Francisco-based Center for Applied Intuition, The Institute for the Study of Conscious Evolution, and The Intuition Network and has worked throughout the US, Japan, South Africa, and Europe since 1977 as a trainer and coach to business executives, scientists, psychologists, other trainers and coaches, and those on a spiritual path. She specializes in intuition devevlopment, new paradigm perception, future trends, and dreamwork.

Penney is a popular lecturer and conference speaker, working with both the general public and corporate audiences. She is on the faculty of The Learning Cafe, which offers training and consulting to entrepreneurs, and The Kaiser Institute, which trains hospital CEO's, health care consultants, and philanthropists in the development of visionary skills. She also works with The Arlington Institute, a group of futurists in Washington, DC. She has worked with shamans and led spiritual tours to Mt. Fuji, Peru, Egypt, and the American Southwest, and has been a TV talkshow host.

Penney is the author of Dream Dictionary for Dummies (Wiley&Sons 2007), The Intuitive Way: The Definitive Guide to Increasing Your Awareness (Beyond Words 1997, Second Edition Council Oak Books 2005), Dreams for Dummies (Wiley&Sons 2000), and The Present Moment: A Daybook of Clarity and Intuition (McGraw Hill 2000).

She has been featured in such magazines as OMNI, Woman's Day, First, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, New Age, and Intuition, as well as in various books, including: Return of the Revolutionaries (Dr. Walter Semkiw), When Life Changes or You Wish It Would and The Purpose of Your Life (Carol Adrienne), The Celestine Prophecy Experiential Guide, and The 10th Insight Experiential Guide (Carol Adrienne and James Redfield), Opening the Inner Eye, Channeling: The Intuitive Connection, and Intuiting the Future (Dr. William H. Kautz), and Breaking Through by Barbara Stanny.

Penney's work has been featured as part of the curriculum at Coach U, The Coaches Training Institute, Holos University, the Spiritual Psychology program at University of Santa Monica, and the University of Johannesburg Graduate program in Business Leadership.

Penney synthesizes teachings from East-West philosophy, religion, psychology, metaphysics, and business, creating bridges of understanding. She understands the intricacies of the dreamworld, altered states of consciousness, and the path to spiritual enlightenment and believes that intuition is the principle vehicle for spiritual growth.

In her teaching and counseling, Penney emphasizes the practical aspects of intuition and helps people apply "direct knowing" to everyday life, as well as in business and organizational situations. She shows how intuition can alleviate burnout and overwhelm, and cut through the chaos of the Information Age to find inner peace and accurate guidance. Her main goals are to help people discover and live their destiny and to develop win-win 21st century innovations based on universal truths.

As a former corporate art director and designer (Atlantic Richfield and American Hospital Supply Corp), Penney is able to communicate articulately from both sides of the brain, and is known for her down-to-earth ability to describe complex realities in common sense terms.

Her schooling was completed at the University of Cincinnati, The New School for Social Research, and Columbia University in New York City, and Disney's California Institute of the Arts near Los Angeles. She currently makes her home in Marin County near San Francisco. For more information, see Penney's interview, resumes, counseling expertise, testimonials, photo album, and blog.
