HOW TO FIND YOUR WAY THROUGH THE MAZE OF MODERN LIFE?
"GUIDE YOURSELF QUICKLY AND ACCURATELY!"
COUNSELS PROMINENT INTUITIVE COACH

Dear Editor/Book Reviewer:
Where do we find guidance and support to make the best choices in our lives? It's an information glut out there. We live in a world of experts and pundits—but how do we know who to consult, who to believe? How do we know which job to take, whether to file for divorce, to merge with our biggest competitor or buy him out?

Now, a prominent San Francisco "expert intuitive" and intuition trainer offers an answer each of us can live with. In the expanded second edition of her popular guidebook (the first edition is in 19 languages), The Intuitive Way: The Definitive Guide to Increasing Your Awareness (Council Oak Books 2005), author Penney Peirce counsels, "You already have the answers that are right for you! With intuition, you know just what you need to know, right when you need to know it!"

A gifted counselor and intuitive mentor to tens of thousands of individuals and a variety of businesses worldwide, for more than twenty years, Peirce states that "intuition is a way of perceiving that unifies body, mind, and soul, and draws truth right into the present moment—giving you immediate clarity and greater authenticity. Plus, intuitive knowing facilitates that magical state of 'flow,' enjoyment, motivation, and renewal of our chronically drained energies."

Peirce's advice, both one-on-one and through her books (she is also the author of The Present Moment and Dreams for Dummies), help clients and readers access their own deep inner knowing, providing a sense of security, connection, and selfhood that translates into greater effectiveness, more fun, and less wasted time. "Developing one’s intuition," Peirce notes, "is also a path to psychological maturity, spiritual wisdom, and greater success in the material world."

The Intuitive Way is a course on intuition devvelopment in ten easy steps; "it initiates a process in the reader that reliably activates the intuition and regulates its opening." The book is organized in three parts:
1) Creating a Clear Lens — How is intuition already functioning in your life?
2) Accessing Subtle Information — How to master the art of subtle perception; and
3) Making Intuition Useful — How to apply intuition practically in daily life.

The two new appendices offer many specific and helpful tips for applying intuition in business today, and for using intuition to live as your far-seeing, masterful soul.
Leading U.S. corporations pay trainers thousands of dollars a day to bring the secrets of intuitive decision-making to their top executives. Millions of Americans are pursuing various personal developmental paths. Penney Peirce brings a brilliant, clear, and heartful understanding of this most intimate of personal resources, one your audience is sure to find fascinating and valuable.

PROMINENT INTUITIVE TRAINER AND COACH AUTHORS
BOOK ON DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF INTUITION

The Intuitive Way Guides Readers into
Deep Natural Knowing and Self-Trust

In case you hadn't noticed, the way our society works is exhausting. We’re drained, frustrated, and paralyzed by our day-to-day lives. We’re overstimulated and overworked; too many demands are made on our time. We're over-informed and over-propagandized by an endless glut of commercial and educational messages. We're bombarded by experts, spin doctors, and pundits, each professing to have the answers. Whew! Who are we to believe? How do we sort among the perspectives and find our course, preferences, and self among this barrage of possibilies?

One San Francisco author believes she has the answer. "Tune in to yourself," advises prominent intuitive and coach Penney Peirce. "You yourself are a source of simple, elegant, and accurate guidance. Your intuition is the vehicle for accessing the kind of clarity that reveals the one 'just right' insight for the situation and moment you're living now." Peirce knows whereof she speaks. For more than 20 years she has been counseling individuals and consulting to corporations internationally on the benefits of developing intuitive abilities.

In this expanded, second edition of her popular guidebook (the first edition is in 19 languages), The Intuitive Way: The Definitive Guide to Increasing Your Awareness (Council Oak Books 2005), Peirce shares her great knowledge and experience in a three-part course on developing and applying intuition. "I am not a psychic," she stresses, "but am using heightened intuition—a gift we all have—as a way to achieve psychological maturity and spiritual wisdom, as well as greater enjoyment and success in the physical world." These experiences, she believes, are what people hunger for in our frantic, materially-oriented society.

"Intuition," Peirce explains, "is a way to improve communication with ourselves and everyone around us, taking us beyond a mere verbal alignment into a much deeper coherence between the physical, imaginal, emotional, intentional, and spiritual parts of ourselves. It enhances creativity, maximizes decision-making and problem-solving, and helps us enjoy the mystery of life. It’s like magic, yet it's profoundly useful."

In The Intuitive Way, Peirce notes that "intuition is a way of perceiving that unifies the body, mind, and soul, resulting in greater clarity and authenticity. Developing and relying on one's intuition is an easier, more enjoyable way to live. With intuition, you know just what you need to know, just when you need to know it."

In addition to counseling and training tens of thousands of individuals, Peirce often advises and trains businesspeople. As a result of consulting with a top executive, she ends up with an enormous amount of information about the organization. “In a small business, for example," she notes, "the results that occur are often an extension of the owner's or leader's own personal process. Whatever is going on with him or her filters down and through the organization."

One recent client, the owner of a health club in Marin County, California, directed his Operations Committee to increase profits by 50% without using extra will power or manpower. He wanted his company to operate according to “inner principles.” Penney consulted with each member of the committee, helping them dissolve their fears and resistances and open up to an increased and more effortless work flow. As a result, motivation is high, and profits are climbing. Such is the power of focused intuition.

Peirce discovered her intuitive abilities over time, and offers her own gradual developmetal process in The Intuitive Way as a way to uncover and develop this most valuable tool for understanding yourself, trusting your own inner wisdom, and reliably creating the life you want.

The three parts of the book, presented in ten steps are:
1) Creating a Clear Lens — An introduction to intuition and how it's already functioning in your life, this phase teaches you how to create and maintain mental clarity.

2) Accessing Subtle Information — In the second phase, you'll learn techniques for maximizing sensitivity to subtle data and how to interpret nonverbal, sensory stimuli;

3) Making Intuition Useful — Here you will learn practical applications for using intuition in daily life, to speed decision-making, improve communication, enhance creativity, and manifest what you need.

Peirce notes that the book initiates a process in the reader that will reliably activate intuition and regulate its opening. She recommends reading a chapter a week.

Now one of America’s leading intuitives and intuitive coaches, Penney hopes this latest edition of her book will find a brand new life with the burgeoning group of readers who are just now discovering the power of perception to create a better life. Readers who benefited from the first edition of The Intuitive Way will be delighted to find an updated introduction chock full of wisdom about living in our intensifying times, as well as two new appendices offering highly useful tips and experiential exercises on 1) Applying Intuition in Business, and 2) Using Intuition to Live as Your Soul.

Peirce advises, "You absolutely can trust yourself and what your mind causes you to notice. There's a good reason for everything that happens to you and, as you develop the ability to understand these things, you will fall deeply in love with yourself. Then, as a result, you will love and understand others, and the world. And that's an infinitely more entertaining and satisfying way to live."

As a youngster, Penney was curious about the mysteries of life, including oracles and telepathy. She was an artist who loved symbols and their meanings. At age 22, she moved to Northem California, just as the personal growth movement was beginning. She was a corporate art director, so was already open creatively; however, she immersed herself in classes on meditation, clairvoyance, shamanism — everything. In the process, her intuition opened and became extremely refined. She has continued studying both from books and gifted individuals, synthesizing a broad world view and developing a deep understanding of life and human nature — one that includes teachings from many world religions, East-West philosophies, psychology, and metaphysics. As she practiced using her intuition, she discovered that her insights were uncannily accurate.

Eventually, people began to ask her to do intuitive consultations for them. "These were not psychic readings," she notes. "I don’t particularly value just predicting the future. I’m more interested in character study and how our consciousness works. I've always wanted to find the soul in people and help them find and fulfill their destiny." She then met Dr. William Kautz, a scientist at Stanford Research Institute, who was investigating the use of intuition for scientific research. She became an associate of Dr. Kautz and his Center for Applied Intuition, and extended her work into research and training. It was through her involvement with the center that she began to work with businesses and the general public in Japan, who show a strong interest in intuition.

Penney says, "When intuition is active, life takes on a magical, effortless quality — your world is suddenly full of instantaneous accurate answers, synchronicities, creative insights, and abundant knowledge just for the asking. Intuition also helps us reconnect with our original innocence and returns us unfailingly to the heart experience, which is common to us all, and communicates with perfect clarity, universally."

And if each of us opened to this part of ourselves and let it out? “The world would be a much more pleasant place for all of us to live in,” she reflects. Isn't that the truth.
